I never understood why those customization options for tanks and planes are exclusively locked behind gold, unlike in War Thunder where you can buy them with silver or unlock them by completing certain tasks, like destroying 200 tanks, for example. Why cant we customize our vehicles AT ALL as freemium in enlisted ??

If you get the battle pass you end up with 50 more gold at the end of it so after 5 battle passes you can buy a vehicle camouflage for 250 gold.
It would be great if the price of camouflage came down lower. With the amounts of camouflages and vehicles available, they would make more money if they reduced the price of vehicle camouflages down to something like 125 gold like the decals.
Having a better system where you could assign camouflages based on theater would also inspire people to buy more camouflages (eg, white camouflages for Battle of the Bulge or Moscow maps, green or grey for Berlin, etc).

That’s their whole monetization model, everything is horrifically over priced. Here, you can only use you Premium squad effectively in a few BRs for a 1 in 3 spawn ratio, for a sole faction. You can buy vehicles in War Thunder cheaper and you can always use it…same company.
Their lack of logic is the problem…they overcharge for things to make up the difference because of the smaller player base then other games, including their own. If things were reasonably priced, people would buy more and player base is happy…which grows a player base. Dark Flow is apparently trying to shrink theirs even though this is a great game compared to it’s competitors. Bad business decisions is what kills companies…dead company equals NO money. It’s not like they have a forum where they can consistantly read the player bases opinions.

I think twice a year prices are cut in half or more. one discount on gold priced items and one for real currency priced items.
I managed to buy an extra slot for allies so now im waiting on the next sale to buy an extra slot for Germany and if I still have enough maybe USSR or another slot for allies again lol. ive been saving my free gold just for the slots and I dont think its worth to buy camo before the slots
Unfortunately, enlisted needs to make money to stay a game, so I respect them for it but maybe 1 or 2 free decals would be nice!
I have been playing Enlisted for a few years so I’m not exactly new, but I have never played War Thunder.
It is interesting that another game by the same publisher–which Enlisted already borrows vehicles from I am told–has better systems in place, and has had them in place for a long time, but they have not been adopted by Enlisted.
You don’t even need AI to figure out that more people spending small amounts of money, ends up being a more profitable and stable business model then trying to rely on a small number of people spending a large amount of money.
And I say this because I do think the game is very good and could always be better. I have all the extra squad slots I could buy for all 4 nations (best investment long term) and also I even bought some of the premium squads when they were on sale. Also I have bought Enlisted gold, taking advantage of the seasonal discounts during Christmas, and also even at other times at full price.
I enjoy spending money on this game IF ITS WORTH IT because the game is the best WW2 FPS since some of the WW2 mods for Battlefield 2 like XWW2 and Battlegroup 42. Other games like Hell Let Loose are dead to me because they do not have bots and I like the bots and having battles feel full of soldiers, not being empty.

This is what I keep saying on here…less turns into more especially when they start making it worthwhile for everyone to have Premium accounts, and it’s not outrageous for players to buy some gold every year for BP or event passes…and if they made Premium squads more affordable a lot more people would buy. Instead they wait until once a year to cash in because of the sales.
WT has been around longer and has a bigger player base hence why things are cheaper because there is more volume. They are also trying to introduce infantry to WT so it seems that they might try to mergethem…unfortunate because Enlisted is WAY better then WT. However if they made a better pricing model here players would buy and be happy…then easier to grow the player base…like you said, this is the best WWII shooter so I want it successful…but when Hell Let Loose can be bought on the PS store with ALL DLC for $250cdn…it’s hard to justify.
