I feel like the cooking time for frag grenade is bit too long.
most of time it’s either I die during cooking,
or if I throw early to avoid dying during cooking, I play volleyball with enemy ai.
Sometimes I want to set my soldier as grenadier by giving 3 grenades, but most of time I die before throwing more than 1 grenades.
It would be nice the cooking time to be 2/3 of current time.
oh please no, I will die so many times with my own frag in my hand before I learn new times, but the 5 second works well for me, if im using 2-3 grenades, I like to volley them in the same area, so even if they throw out one grenade, there is another waiting for them, have yet to see even the AI beat that combo, not to mention I tend to save my grenades for clearing rooms or buildings.
Though I do wish I could carry more frags sometimes, too many of my soldiers just have explosive packs to deal with barbed wire and sandbags. Which is honestly on its own, because I dont use them most of the time, but then I really really need them like once every ten matches because there is someone on the enemy team that actually understands how powerful engineers are.
Unironically though, they need to up the limit on building sandbags, idm if they also raise the cost, but give me like 12-14 max sandbags.
agree, I always bring 3 nade bags & toss em to scout paths, sometimes it’ll gets lucky group kills, but cooking time is too long and makes my squad vulnerable /per cook&throw (about 3~5s), and uncooked nade is useless or got ed
I don’t know, works well enough for me.
You can always use impact names (though they are heavily nerfed thanks to some idiots).
Although it would be nice if AI wasn’t shit so it could protect you better when you try to use grenades. (And so it doesn’t die randomly with full equipment.)
yeah, because they added a second or so delay when touching fire so you dont intantaneously combust. I mean that was annoying…but it also made Molys not as good offensively, its more of a hinderance now than dangerous.
I feel like the Burn Damage over time is a lot lower than it used to be, but I could be imagining that one.
Moly also used to be absolutely lethal to tanks, Now you have to very specifically hit the engine vent and it can be a little funny
The biggest annoyance with fire now it a 1 tick delay were we extinguish the fire but the game keep adding the damaged of the fired and we die because of that 1 tick delay
