Last week I played 2 games and both had connection and fps issues, now I’ve come back to play 4 games this week and all 4 games had a stable 160 fps, but at random times (usually at the worst moment) they drop to 20 and my screen freezes for half a second.
I think I’ve been playing this game for about 5 years now and these kinds of problems always come back and get solved, they never solve it 100%.
i had micro lags with one computer cause of silicon degradation(probably). used to run it overclocked and after few years of use i would start to get high system interrupts. later i found out that i woke the computer from sleep few too many times and problem just happened. restart helped get rid of it temporarily (changed MBO, reinstalled windows multiple times and nothing helped).
your situation is probably different and without diagnosing it, it is almost impossible to guess what it is. i would install stress test tools (OCCT) and see if there are any overheating issues. then i would install MSI afterburner and use FPS overlay to check usage of CPU/memory/GPU when problem happens.
also it is important to notice if it is only game that freezes or whole system. if problem is in whole system, then you may have other problems.
it always happens to me on the first game. it freezes for a second every time something happens like a giant explosion but after the first game it stops and the game plays fine
Ive never had issues before with it, but I do know that I had issues with it today, saying that I think the latest drivers update for Nvidea devices might have something to do with it since I have noticed it even while not playing the game, though it is worse in enlisted than other games.
The opposite happens to me, in other games (even more demanding than enlisted) it doesn’t happen to me ._. It only happens to me occasionally in enlisted.
It’s not like I play enlisted enough to know if it’s a rule, what I do know is that every time I log in something happens xD
I play on a GTX 1650 laptop, so my frames are probably that low anyway they can’t drop any lower. (I will definitely need to upgrade next year as it’s starting to stutter more and more on games that it shouldn’t)
I can relate but my issues are a little different…
Apparently, after about 15 minutes of playing, I experience a memory leak (which has to do with my RAM sticks getting replaced) that causes my game to crash. I only experience this with Enlisted, and not other games like HLL, etc. I’ve gotten one of the RAM sticks switched out but I’ve still gotta get the other one switched. I find it odd, though, that it only happens with Enlisted…
There are times for me that my frames will briefly drop significantly when something happens in-game, or if I have a sudden but slight network reconnection, but nothing with any significant patterns. I would think that whatever is happening is on your end.
RAM stick can cause loads of memory problems, but not memory leak afaik. memory leak happens when program doesnt release memory after it is done with whatever it needed it for. i am 99% certain that this is software problem.
Oh really? Thanks! I have a friend in IT and he offered to replace the RAM sticks for free so I just took his word for it but I’ll do some more research.
For FPS drops this needs a proper report on the CBR: Community Bug Reporting System
With all the relevant information: .clog file, dxdiag and performance log
Check and install the latest Windows updates and driver for your video card.
Check the files through the game launcher and your drive on which the game is installed for errors (fix them if you have them)
Restart your PC after all these steps.
If it still happens then make a report
While digging around my PC, I discovered that the NVIDIA app was messing with my game settings for some reason. I have multiple monitors, and I think there was a compatibility issue with the 3D technology on one of them. I think that’s why because I disabled it and it didn’t happen in the last game, but I’ll keep investigating.
