its a duplicate to an event squad and they were released at the same time. The two squad’s uniqueness is its incendiary bombs. Premium squads don’t need to be “unique” they get +100% xp when used (which impacts silver gain.)
Personally im in the boat that anything that is premium is fair game to be added to the tech tree / used for events…and should be added.

No, they weren’t. They start selling those premium planes before they even announced the event.
So some people definitely bought them before they got information that nearly identical planes are going to be for free as event rewards.

I don’t exactly agree with this, but similar things should be included, for example, look at APCs, they are completely P2W.

Yeah I feel zero empathy over the flame plane prem situation, not only did they buy bad prems but they were literally warned a free version was coming later
“A pair of vehicles with this new mechanic” doesn’t really imply the same airplanes, but with different textures lol.
Not to mention that it’s quite normal that when a new thing is introduced, very often squad/vehicles with that new feature are present in the upcoming event as rewards.
But this was the only case where the reward in the event was identical to the premium stuff.
That’s the real context.
So I really don’t even know what you’re trying to accomplish.
To deliberately misrepresent what actually happened? Do you hold some kind of grudge against people that are financially supporting this project? Lol
I bought it afterwards in sales, because this event was one of very few I haven’t participated in since I started playing the game.
Event F6F and premium F6F have the same “new mechanic”, this is true, no misrepresenting.
So what you expect than? You want your premium vehicle be better/worse than event/TT one?
We got P-51C that is same as TT long time ago.
There is also countless premium copy vehicle in WT.
I don’t know what’s the problem.
I won’t be arguing with someone who’s twisting reality and misrepresenting what I have said.
There is no problem if you have f2p vehicles that you then start selling as premium.
However, the opposite is quite problematic.
A very hard concept to understand I guess.
