you have to take into account that the fuel of the aircraft counts on the weight calculation and affects maneuverability and speed, and in the Pacific maps the planes take off from an aircraft carrier and it takes time to reach an optimal speed for flying and fighting, if the drop tank bomb if it were too heavy it would make it impossible to use the plane without losing precious minutes after takeoff to gain altitude

The FP-5’s drop tank in game is 150 liters and should be 150 gallons!
150 gallons equals 567.81 liters.
