While playing allies on Normandy I heard one of the american soldiers say ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega!’.
This is a quote from the Unreal Tournament series, I’m pretty sure its intentional, quite a cool surprise I thought, I like things like this.

I thought it’s reference to 3rd album Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals.
