Hello again. From my understanding when you set the close standard or wide ranges for your troops in the menu, it only affects how far of a distance the troops keep from you. A better option Maybe to have the clothes standard at wide ranges be for how far each Soldier is from one another IE how spread out the group is. This would come in helpful to avoid explosives in close quarters or to form a group together for a melee charge.
