Now that the Soviet-German high BR has the city of Berlin, Seelow Heights and Wald, let’s ask the developers to fix Stalingrad and Rzhev (1942-43) and remove high BR from there?

It’s kinda weird how untouched and fresh the environment feels.
I would have expected a lot more cratering from heavy artillery, and overall other impacts of the war.
The map from those pictures doesn’t give the impression at all that this one of the last battlefields of WWII, where the Germans were desperately trying to defend themselves in a devastated country.

I really like the screenshots of how this map looks. It’s nice to see the beautiful nature. I really hope that in the future we will also see the surroundings of Stalingrad, fields and villages, because in this campaign they are sorely lacking

Hey, just a quick suggestion—
I think it would be awesome if every 15 or 30 days, there was a rotation where 2–3 premium squads go on sale. They could be older or newer squads, even the ones that aren’t currently accessible. That way, players who missed out can finally get their hands on them, and it would be great for the game financially too.
Helldivers 2 does something similar with their armor sets—they rotate every few days, and it works really well. There’s really no downside to it.
Honestly, if the M3 Lee or Valentine squads for the USSR came back on sale, I’d buy them in a heartbeat. Same with the Jagdtiger or any other rare squads. Just a small idea I wanted to share—it’s a win-win for both the devs and the players.

I guess its supposed to be town protected by forest, thus escaping allied bombings.

I dont even think that is all that true, Germans have been non stop on the retreat - the last few months of the war the Soviets often pushed towards Berlin with only little resistance unless at important crossroads and strategic important towns.
This little village and forest being relatively untouched by war seems not far fetched, especially from the perspective that you fighting on that map could be the first battle - which historically probably only lasted a couple of days anyways.

Depends on feedback, I think it’s very possible if players do show that they like having pre-built usable at guns on wald

I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t use heavy artillery on any strong point where the Germans wanted to defend themselves. And it doesn’t matter if they were dug in in a village or in a town.
But I guess rushing obvious bunkers and trenches without any preparation right before end of war makes much more sense .

Well it all depends -Stalingrad lasted quite long with the frontlines changed often and chaotically - so lots of destroyed buildings and craters and destroyed tanks fit the desperate setting of the map.
This map could have also been more destroyed - but in the context of : the battle just starting - i dont think this is all that bad.
That railway map is also relatively untouched by war with most buildings being still intact.
There’s a lot more coming… This is just the beginning…

That’s not what I am talking about.
What I would expect is something more similar to Towns in Normandy campaigns.
As you can clearly see there there’s ongoing war.
And it would be nice to have famous slogan “Berlin bleibt Deutsch” written around the village.
