Im just tired of people who want more and more tanks when the tanks are spammed as is and they still wont upgun the engineers AT weapons to deal with them.

Still there is a 0% chance they do not add one of the most iconic tanks of WWII. Everyone know about the Tiger so it’ll make it in eventually. The real question is what will be matched up against it and will we end up with another Normandy situation.
Also curious to see what they are going to give Axis to vs the KV-1 in Moscow.

Oh I’m certain it will appear but I worry about the state of the game more than it already is. People keep clamoring for bigger and bigger tanks but there is far more that needs to be considered before this is just war thunder 2.0

Marder? Even that jury rigged monstrosity could be enough vs the kv provided it’s a version with a powerful enough gun.
Most likely a TD unless they go the fake history route

My only complaint with that is I do not like the idea of giving one side a tank & the other a turretless TD. They play so differently, and the current enlisted maps are not setup in a way to effectively use TDs (imo).
This game is mostly focused around infantry so I feel like a dedicated TD doesn’t fit very well. Even tho I love them and would love to get a Stug or Hetzer (flame Hetzer when??) at some point even if it is useless.

however I and many others as I think op did not understand we are not against adding the TIGER we are against adding the TIGER “if” adding it is equivalent to starting an arms race that ends with both factions fighting on their mechs

Much like the open topped M10 on Normandy. Giving one side a dedicated tank destroyer and one a normal tank simply isn’t balance

You’re right… I just don’t know what they could add in Moscow vs the t34 or kv that would balance out without being too out of place… stug probably wouldn’t be enoughvs kv, but tiger would just be too much…
Or what they could do is simply NOT add any new tank in Moscow

The early T34 will be incredibly powerful if added let alone the KV
Exactly… it’s why I really have no idea of what they could give Germany to even it out. Best bet is to not implement new tanks… But we’d miss iconic Soviet tanks… Ah, I’m torn!

or maybe they could expand moscow with stalingrad and so they can add panzer 4 fw1 / fw2 so they can add t34 (1941) and kv and make these vehicles only spawn in stalingrad

Best option by far. Locking themselves into these short time frames is a bad move. Remove the campaigns all together and simply make it Eastern front 1941-1943
I thought about that, but they would need to create a new mechanic for tank squads, like “select the vehicle your squad uses mid battle”.
Else, you see ppl choosing things like KV… and appearing in Quarry with no possibility to spawn with it as it would be disabled. Thus getting in match with a squad you can’t use.
Nah just expand the time frame. If we toss the campaigns everything is fine to include the MKB 42

I don’t know… I don’t really want to see the campaign with only Kv, pz4f and t34… it’s all we would see after a while.
Its unfortunate but it seems inevitable if they keep the campaigns going which they will for the $$$

@44854715 he is right, even if they do not create theaters of war and remain in single battles the 1.0 could still be like this with only automatic weapons and t34 vs tiger
