The det packs are an abstract. Historically it was very dangerous for tanks to get too close to infantry. The infantry can always figure out a a way to immobilize and kill it.
The det pack just simulates that danger …
I personally would like to see less power from the det packs and more power given to the AT guns to destroy
better gear does not mean 1 tank every 3 levels, there are also other classes to be equipped better not only assaulter and tanker
