For the sake of game balance, fix rockets

Rockets are extremely easy to use, ESPECIALLY M8s and HVARs. For something that is that easy to aim, it should not have that kind of power. The blast radius appears to be larger than bombs, can hit through cover (we get hit when laying down in buildings all the time), and in the case of Ally rockets don’t even have to hit a tank to kill it. (I watched a HVAR land about 30- 40m from our Tiger tank and kill it.) On top of how easy they are to use, the Allies get 8-10 of them per reload, which is effectively enough to wipe the entire field twice.

Meanwhile, bombs that take actual practice to get good with and often leave you very exposed to AA are often having trouble killing tanks and such? Blast radius on the smaller bombs is less than that of rockets, while the 250 kg bombs seem to be about the same blast radius as HVAR rockets in terms of killing infantry, but have to land within 15m to kill Jumbos? Also, their damage doesn’t pass through walls like that of rockets.

Suggestion:

  • Greatly reduce blast radius of rockets. Make them require some precision rather than simply spamming the field with them.
  • In order to kill tanks, the rocket should need to land ON or directly next to the vehicle.
  • Make sure the blast does NOT pass through walls.

Since historical accuracy is going on the backburner and game balance is supposed to be taking priority, this would be a very appreciated change.

We should be able to penetrate the armour of german tanks with rifles because they are OP (I was killed once by them) and fuck historical accuracy.

Aren’t you Quadro or MajorMcDonald? First they need to nerf artillery/bombing runs into oblivion and now rockets.

Shouldn’t be easier to just remove all explosive things from game? These super annoying cry babies are really something. They’re not able to deal with game mechanic so its need to be censored. Cancel culture at its best.

Unless you are experiencing serious desync, rockets need to do this already.

well m8 and hvars arent really that accurate. even if you aim at tank they can go widely around it. i still prefer to drop bomb on tank than shoot it with rockets cause it is more reliable. i see them with more potential in killing infantry.

you had some massive desync. there is no way that hvar kills from 30-40m and specially not tiger.

Why not go play WT or Battlefields instead?
Dev already changed explosion radius, what do you want?
Explosion FX larger than actual damage? WTF is this?

How many times is this going to be brought up? Probably by the same person.

There are balance counters in place.
