It’s a special one because only the best pilots can really use them. To gather water in a river or like WHILE flying and never stopping, is renowned to be extremely difficult.
The last one I went to was a couple of years ago, But had alot of the good stuff!, spitfires, mustangs, Super hornets, F-35s
Super Hornet Going straight up on take off was awesome. Also did this crazy basically hovering manuever (think it was a cobra, but then he just sat there for a while). was awesome
One in a lil Yak55m in particular. Ooof did he beat his lil plane! Kept going in spirals, climbed in candles up to stalling, then fell, then spun. What an ace.
The Cf18 was quite nice to see over our heads at 300m. Could clearly see the pilot. Once he did a fun move where the plane nose was upward but he kept going parallel to the ground. Looked like a dance.
And of course it wouldn’t be a Canuck show without the national team:
Yeah I think thats the one. Plane is basically looking straight up vertical (not quite) and just sitting on its engine thrust, just hovering along?
that was awesome to watch. A pair of super hornets did this from one end of the runway to the other, Then slammed on their afterburners and went near straight up.
yes, but going forward, it was quite impressive to see. What’s funny is that the plane that did this was ALSO a super hornet ( CF18, where C is just for “Canada” when a model receives many modifications to satisfy our military’s requirements)
Includes the flying bulls B25 , lightning , Corsiar, P47, P51,
Plus every type of Spitfire possible, 109s and more, I was at these shows too they are only 35 miles from home
