The Fog in the general game is rather annoying and just bad. I get its to add some depth but its really bad. Considering most games even in Lone fighter mode are half Bots. Most likely names pulled from the War Thunder Data base so there is not generic bot names. i don’t mind the bots. BUT! When there is a super super dense fog and snow added in the mix so i can only see 20 feet IN front of my and all the bots have aimbot built in. Getting 1 shot from a bot 100+ meters away when i cant see 20 feet is rather annoying and honestly only way i see to play the Russian maps is to camp in a house or fly planes Hardly still fucking hard to see. or just sit in the back with Artilery strikes or mortars.
Rather than removing the fog/snow, the devs should just make the bots function better.
Lol make the bots better? Name any game where the bots dont have aimbot lol!
It’s kinda the point for the bots to have aim bots, as, well, without them they literally cannot aim lmfao.
Yea I can agree to a point bots without aim or are pointless. But bots with aim or while there is super dense fog and snow in the maps to where a real player can’t see 30-40 feet in front of them but a bit can see you laying in the snow or in the grass or in a bush is stupid.
Sadly even with the game in open beta I still see bots even in line wolf mode. They should just remove bots completely till they are fine tuned. What’s the point of playing a sniper only to get 2 kills then a boy across the map that you can see auto detects you because you fired a shot and it caused their aim or to lick on and target you?
It’s really bad to the point I’ve seen bots simply walk by me look at me and keep going but once I shoot at all they all 180 snap to me and kill me lol.
Even in squad mode the bots you get don’t help really in anyway but get you a kill here and there. 90% of the time they just block your field of view while you are scoped in lol. Or while you are prone they are just standing there walking around giving you away.
And remove the main distinction between this game and other WW2 FPS shooters? no.
