I have many hours on War Thunder, where I used a mouse point to control the plane in arcade mode, yet when I play this game, the handling of the aircraft is terrible. Why don’t they just import the controls from War Thunder? Or am I missing something? I would also like to disable the autoroll correction on my plane when I use a mouse pointer, so I can look around the airspace without having to constantly spam a/d to keep the wings steady. Many thanks, Eden
You can look around while holding the C key, have you never done that in WT?
YEs I am aware of the freelook key, but while I am using it the wings are constantly trying to return to perfect horizontal, as opposed to staying tilted where I want them.
I created a guide it was a while back mind but why not try remapping like everyone else incl me…
Free look decoupled, throttle decoupled, separate cannon and mgs etc etc
Yes the flying is weird in the beginning compared to other games.
When I started to play this game I couldn’t even stay in the air for a minute without crashing.
I even had to post a topic here on the forum asking for advice about flying correctly.
It just takes some practice and you will be fine.
I play WT and Enlisted on Xbox with an Xbox gamepad.
In War Thunder, even in sim, the controls are very doable without mouse aim for me but in Enlisted I just can’t manage to tweak them properly and am forced to use mouse aim. I wish it would just copy control mechanics directly from WT since the games share the same engine and many of the assets.
