Just wanted to highlight an issue that really ruins the experience for players — I’ve attached a clip showing my freinds teammate using a flamethrower to kill him while he was in a tank, just so they could take the tank slot for themselves. This kind of griefing is seriously damaging to team gameplay and morale. My freind as you cant see wasn’t blocking their path or doing anything wrong — they just wanted the vehicle for themselves.
What makes it worse is that normal weapons like MG 42s have teamkill protection (bullets pass through teammates), which is great. But flamethrowers can still kill teammates, which opens the door to abuse like this. I think it’s unfair and needs to be addressed.
Suggestions:
Either give flamethrowers the same teamkill protection as bullets,
Or add a penalty system for players who deliberately TK with flamethrowers (e.g. vote kicks, auto warnings, or temporary bans for repeat offenses).
This would help prevent griefers from ruining matches for others. Most of us are just trying to play the game the way it’s meant to be played.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

Making tea are invulnerable to fire damage would be too strong as you could flames teammates and bots while killing enemies, a penalty should be added if you are just hitting friendly unit like a negative score vore score debuff for a time.
Hi.
Such behavior is punishable. You can report the player immediately after the end of the match.

The teamkiller is on the forum too, you could ask his opinion on this suggestion

I saw the replay.
After teamkilling the friendly tank, he stays alive and does not take a tank for himself…

he got a panther and in the text chat he said he killed 'pig tank ’ because it’s taking up the slot for his more ‘superior panther’ other people in that game chat can back me up.

he went on about how his ‘long 75’ is better than my br2 tank(15cm)

He needs banned or something needs done about this its very unfair to say the least
This has happened to me many times in Hellcat.

Well, his next two spawns at least were infantry.
He could have taken a tank after the teamkill but he did not.
Sadly chat doesnt show in the replays
Yeah but he clearly ran back to his team’s spawn area, not forward where the enemy is coming from…
I think that was just a joke but all jokes aside this issue needs attention.

He done it to get a tank. A Panther.
Either way what he did was wrong. Flamethrowers need the same as weapons not hurting teammates or at least teammates vehicles.
I was also in the match. He ran directly for Vlad and burned him out of the tank just to steal the tank slot for himself. Then he proceeded to trash talk the entire game. Definitely deserves a ban.

Clearly not (but it’s worse).
The teamkill is at 01:40
He plays infantry and takes a tank at 11:05
So thats 10 minutes later.
I think at the start of the battle he wanted to spawn a tank, but they were already taken, he was pissed and spawned a flametrooper and went straight for the team’s tank.
Not to take it, just to kill it.
Possibly worse than doing that for taking the slot?
