Why does the Tigers 88 gun sound different to the Flak 88, I want the 88 truck to be feared, that all infantry / tank crews start scouring the hedgerows like in tank movie Fury!
I’m on console, can’t use sound mods so please tell me reason or if this is devs oversight.
I think Because the pin on the flack 88 was manual Instead the pin on the tiger was electric, also recoil was controlled in different way and the 88 on the tiger was made just sligthly different for fit in the hull
Different factor who change the sound at my advice also the ammunition was different ecc…
They are actually different kinds of guns, with different penetration.
The gun is largely the same exept for but how it is mounted differs alot. The diffrence in pen is just a diffrent choice of APHE round that trades pen for double the filler.
The gun on the flakbus is more expsed so sound/preasure might escape from more places, compared to the sealed chassis of the tiger, which might affect the actuall sound of the gun but idk for sure.
But it could just be DF useing an older/diffrent sound byte from WT.
