Fix the too low dispersion of these submachine guns.
M1921AC “Prohibition”
Orita M1941
PPSh-41 (Box)
M1921 Thompson 100
There may be an error in the values.
Type 100 MG
I also want to draw your attention to the zero recoil of the weapon. After all, this is on BR2. Probably it needs recoil.

Personally would like to see all other weapons match these low dispersion numbers.
The dispersion is such a dumb mechanic and should really only be applied to maybe shotguns and the Obrez smgs. Most Ww2 firearms were precision machined tools designed to be very accurate. This mechanic changes some weapons to mostly accurate and others to kind of accurate for no good reason.

I’d rather see dispersion reduced below these numbers across the board. It sucks being perfectly on target, knowing that every gun in the game can hit it. But randomly, your shot will go somewhere you are not aimed. This is a very feel-bad mechanic. I’d rather see weapons balanced around player skills rather than random chances.

What do you mean dispersion is a great feature?

you should actually try the type 100 mg and report back about that supposed 0.004 dispersion
It’s not about dispersion
That’s what you get for having double barrel gimmick.
Hard disagree.
SMGs shouldn’t be able to laser beam ppl at 100m. Use other guns if you want accuracy, like semis or bolt action rifles.
Guns should have pros and cons so there is a reason to use them. I guess SF rifles spoiled some players by being good at everything.

You use close range weapon at long range. What exactly did you expect to happen?
Especially since everything in Enlisted is scaled down (especially in context of distance). So it’s obvious the dispersion of weapons has to be artificially increased to mimic fightings that are taking place at much reduced distances compared to reality.
Plus, as I said (and got my post censored because of it) Enlisted was never a game about skill. So mechanics like dispersion are meant to reduce the skill gap between individual players. And that’s good thing.
If you want to play a skill based FPS, go play CS for example. Enlisted is and always was a casual WW2 sandbox FPS.

Years ago I estimated that enlisted is scaled give or take 1:3 in comparison to irl distances (not a hard rule of course).
Error? That would be Gaijin.

Semi autos have too high dispersion, considering they still for the most part a 20’ or longer barrel, making them a proper rifle. Not too mention they still fire full size cartridges.
Which brings me onto my next point. Semi auto’s used to do 75% (give or take) of the damage a bolt action does. So in reality, the damage of semi autos should be increased, to around the 15.0 mark (with some lee way).
I know a lot of people complained about them being too good. But that’s the point. Historically, they were much better, especially for unskilled conscripts. Besides, BR II semi autos are still going to be trash. It just gives BR III and IV semi autos more incentive to use.
Or at least decrease the visual recoil. There’s no way a fully auto M1 Garand has less visual recoil than a standard one (goes for all select fire and semi auto in the game).

I agree about SA dispersion, they could use a buff.
But from what I remember most of them already do 15.3 damage, I checked yesterday. That should be enough to down enemy with vitality perk.

I meant as base damage, not upgraded. It might seem a controversial opinion, but compared to a Mosin that does 27.5 damage (or more) or even the allied Springfield that does 25.4 damage, it still leaves enough of a gap (7 - 10 damage when upgraded) to warrant using them over a semi auto, especially BR III and below.
I don’t know, imo the damage is good enough. At least I never had any issues with it.
I’d much rather have dispersion buffed.
Then I’ll make a post about this later today
