Ok I looked them up and they seem be mounted on a few things other than the Calliope, but none of them seem to be very useful for front line service so that may be why they were not added, similar to why the BM-8 was added instead of the Katyuska truck. Probably the same reason that wasn’t added either.

yeah, but they used M3 GMCs as indirect fire pieces there as well, so you can get away with a lot if you are outside of the battlefield proper. I want to find if there is something up armored to the point where it can stop small arms fire from all directions with the Xylophone, like the Panzerwerfer.

It’s really unbalanced, and with a Pz IV of its level, there’s no way to kill it. And from Pz IVJ to Pz IVH, not much has changed at all, their weak turrets and weak main guns are too weak to deal with Jumbos. No matter what people tell you about how easy the Jumbos are to kill with Panthers and Tigers, at level 20 the Jumbos are very unbalanced.
The main reason, again, is that Jumbos shouldn’t be in this level, they should be in the Panthers level.

well considering that m10 is after jumbo… yeah jumbo should be on m10 level. but then again considering that normandy has shit playerbase on allies, jumbo should be available from level 1.
According to the mechanics of the game, it would be more balanced to give the Allies the larger caliber M36, the M10 and Jumbo swap positions, the top tank will be the M36. This might be a bit more balanced, as the M10 is very vulnerable, but has more firepower than the Pz IV, similar calibre and slower turret turning.
The M36 can balance the Panther and Tiger, the 90mm and 88mm guns are similar caliber so the HE can be similar, again, the M36 is more brittle than the Tiger but has a little more firepower.
If the Jumbo got APCBC, I might consider moving it up to Panther or Tiger level a fair move, but since it has solid shell AP right now, it’s fine where it is IMO.

however the m4a2 must get m62 APHE shells while jumbo is pretty fine with m72 since it’s at least got an upside to it

I prefer to have specific restrictions for each map, for example Omaha Beach, it’s amazing that there are planes and tanks on the axis, and it’s amazing that the alliance can deploy Jumbos and M10 on the beach, it would be better to replace it with a specially modified M4 (only this tank is allowed). After all, the game doesn’t consider how the map stacks up against the offensive and defensive teams at all. Maybe in the future when there is Operation Market Garden, the Allies can have Jumbos, don’t ask why, maybe they were dropped?
well if they ever fix that you dont lose all your crew on m10 with constantly replacing the killed commander i would consider not replacing the jumbo. it is pretty pointless now even with m10 having better penetration. it performs worse against infantry, is getting slaughtered by infantry cause commander and has overall worse armor than jumbo, so is getting slaughtered by any other tank.
at least jumbo can survive most panther/tiger players even though he cant kill them frontally…
I strictly run the M4A1 because it is the only proper American tank that has a shell with any sort of post pen. Don’t care about armor and the penetration is good enough.

well that is only decent tank. cause it can actually pen tiger and panther, while not being so vulnerable to infantry that you lose majority of your crew cause commander was peaking outside the hatch. would prefer better performance against infantry though, both tiger and jumbo outperform it in that regard (more tnt in he shells).
