Out of all the tanks in game the Jumbo is the only tank that is imposable to kill even with a Tiger. I know Puma is usless vers it even when if shots the rear end does no damage what so ever. Panther like the Tiger is also having isues with it. Panther IV is not cutting it either. thers only 2 ways to kill the dam thing 1 shot the Mechine gun port if you can even see the damed thing and 2 if you shor the front cog on the tracks. Most of the time its facing you so ya. Corse you can always shot the barel.

Higher Elevation than the Jumbo helps normalize the armor. If the shell hits it top down a bit it can pen, though the Panther has more pen thanks to its higher shell velocity. But less internal damage because the Tiger shell has 3 times thr filler.
Beyond that, rockets and bombs work, and the ObF43 is very very effective. Just takes some practice.
The Jumbo has been and will be a source of Grief until you get really good at learning where it is weak.
Worry not though, once we get something with a long 88mm in Normandy (God give me a Jadgpanther) it will become Cannon Fodder.

remind me how a jumbo and frontally kill a panther with less than 90mm of pen again?

If you can’t kill a Jumbo after you flank it even with a Puma, I don’t know what to say other than skill issue.

I stoped playing for a while I only got back so it was waybefor JU188 got gun crew. cause when I got back that was updated 5 moths befor. I stoped using tanks long ago between the long range Anti tank Rocket perpaled Gernade that sinped you way up on the montin from the beach on Normandy. And other isues like geting rockted to hell with over 6 rockets and a bomb… I found it better to fly a JU188 with no guns then be in a wothless tank that would only last 2 seconds of game start

A tank or planes life expectancy is directly related to the skill of both the diver and enemy team.
There will always be matches where you are spawned, spotted, and neutralized in a very short order.
I can tell you that when a tank spawns on any map I am playing, it is usually, unless something else is pressing, my Priority #1.
Jumbos can be annoying but unless you are giving them a weak spot to hit , your Tiger or Panther can usually shrug off most of what they shoot. Unless its the premium Jumbo which for whatever reason has a better Shell. Though truth be told I haven’t tested its efficacy in the test range as of late.
the new round is war thunder’s APCR meaning it’s basically useless in both penetration and post pen

Gotcha. I dont own the Tank myself so I wasn’t going to speak out of turn on something I have no experience with.
Its all crazy thats all I know. Even if you have a Green solution it never realy works right.

Me either I just go upaginsed them. I was lucky enugh to get up behind one long ago in my puma and it couldnt even do nothing but piss it off and blast me
only benefit of it is the sandbags and the hedge clippers since you lose half your current ammo for a third useless shells

I dell with the cheap skates with a JU188 carpet bomb thats the only shure way to destroy them. Esapesaly when they sit back at spwan lol
