The jets are absolutely annoying all you can hear when play is just jet engine sounds. It makes it hard to hear anything else going on in the game and is overwhelming. Not to mention the Jets are very OP it makes all the normal piston planes useless and not fun

I think it might be settings on PS5 sounds fine, I love using Tempest and Sabre, 109k and 262 premium, so piston engines are back up.
Before the update I would have agreed with you entirely, but now jet noises seem to have been reworked. Now they are much more pleasant to the ear. About their performance, I get that they are a serious competitor to regular planes but I don’t think they make them pointless. Sure it may not be possible for all planes but some are able to catch and shoot down a jet, using special strategies (waiting at high altitude).
