I think it’s reasonable
The guerrillas can certainly gain an advantage by grabbing weapons.
The premise is that you can grab suitable weapons

Thanks to the idiots who can’t think.
No matter what level of environment
In most cases, the chance of grabbing an automatic weapon is lower than the chance of grabbing a hand-pulled rifle from an idiot.

Why can’t they just take 1 minute to break in?
You can do a lot in 1 minute
Maybe what you should be thinking about is why you couldn’t make preparations to intercept them within 1 minute.

Camping is just an excuse and slander for the incompetent
Victims are never slaughtered because of mechanical problems but because of their stupidity or fixed thinking.
If their thoughts are mature enough
Be willing to accept the shortcomings of your choices and learn to change the way you fight or think about how to improve
Then they wouldn’t be stupid enough to become camping victims

The birth of guerrillas comes from extreme infantry groups
Because their intelligence or abilities or ideas do not allow them to use anti-tank rocket barrels or use other fighting methods other than infantry.

difference between a guerilla squad with SMGs rocking up close to enemy spawn, and a regular assualter squad with SMGS using jeep for example to get close to enemy spawn?

one can actually get close to spawn, one wont get closer than ~50m ? at minimun due greyzone.

My question is why do you want the ability to get into the grey zone within the first minute for fighting?

I’m not. I am actively flanking or assaulting. The reason why I would use vehicles is to move quickly somewhere behind the enemy lines in a critical moment. And it’s not like I can keep pulling that Ace since there are a limited amount of vehicles on the map.

Inside the grey zone, there is a spawn zone where if the guerillas enter it, a countdown begins before they die. I have died to this before.

Guerillas didn’t come with vehicle insurance, thus they cannot drive game vehicles.

The way people drive jeeps and motorcycles in this game, they must be Queenslanders XD.

Also guerillas should be able to use vehicles. After all, they’re just ‘borrowing’ that jeep from a mate right? Have it back by the end of the weekend with a cold one in the back as a thanks for the trouble.
