The FG-42 with Schiessbecher is an old event Paratrooper squad. I literally just found out that it is firing an AT grenade, the Gross-Panzergranate, but it literally does no damage to vehicles.
The Gross-Panzergranate can penetrate 70mm of armor

This would be a good change, and would maybe make it somewhat viable after the GL nerf happens next update (and it should get more ammo too)

It normal that it have low ammo it the secondary weapon the primary weapon is the gun you get from the crate
then why US event paratroopers have 200 ammo?
Simple a FG-42 does more damaged per shot and they have more grenade in their kit
Premium FG paratroopers have 20/60 instead of 20/40

so 60 bullets that deal 14.4 damage vs 200 bullets that do 13.2 damage. seems really balanced. also those 3 grenades are shit and dont come close to compensating for lack of ammo.

But in reality they are using an AT grenade which doesn’t have the HE power of a frag grenade. When they actually correct it the grenade won’t compensate (it barely compensates now with how nerfed GL are 
)
They should just give it the same ammo as a base FG, no different than bolt rifle grenade launchers
I don’t take a landing force to take a machine gun from a box, a landing force is always needed only for one thing - to build a rally point.
As for the grenade launcher, it is already terrible, it does not cause any damage, and in the near future it will be made even worse.

i swear to god this rifle did penetrate tanks when it first came out but i think it was shadow nerfed

Not really, it has the same grenade model as the kar98k with Schiessbecher. It is just that the He grenade for Kar98k has the wrong model.

They could either change both the Kar98k and FG 42 to the correct Gewehr-Sprenggranate HE model or make them function like the AT grenades they are with penetration.
In that case they could add a Kar98k HE to the RT
