This is infuriating i just wasted entire booster on that garbage stomp that was impossible to win. Without a booster i would either instantly desert that stupid match or go afk (we would lose probably in 6mins without me) I can’t play vs 3 clanmates jerking off on discord.
Or just remove that stupid penalty all together as it doesn’t make games even better or worse. Matchmaking need a bit overhaul.
Adding desertion penalty without adding proper map/gamemode select system and any rule/adjust to MM against stacks, is awesome work lol
That penalty is all about making our grind longer with less silver/xp rather than fixing anything that is badly designed with current MM/gamemodes/maps.
So you either have bot like matches vs Germany or clan stacks sitting on discords doing pro strats against pubs. How fun Enlisted have become…
Maybe they can make it where if the game last shorter than 15mins the exp boosters wont be used on a loss. Also look at those K/D ratio lol 0 kills and 5 squads deaths 8 kills and 9 squad deaths I really dont understand how someone opens a first person shooter game sits down and just walks around while getting rinsed for a whole 10 mins but hey as long as they stay in the match everything is sunshine and rainbows. A skill based system using the ranking system would at least put you with players that are actually playing the game since it resets every month and people actively playing would reach 200 way faster while people playing a few matches a day would reach the 200 towards the end of the season
It’s not the worst stomp in history (a couple times playing BR II Germany I was first place with only 2000 points and 35 kills). But I feel your pain regardless.
Stacks should realistically play against other stacks.

So far, there have been 12 matches. I’ve deserted in 8 games.
I keep seeing the same thing.
Tank and plane players in first place, with high scores, doing nothing, just farming. They keep shouting for the others to capture but refuse to do the same.
When I see that, I just desert. I don’t play for free for them.

Gavutu is the worst. From water on every objective to the hangar that is impossible to see into (unless you go around the side or back, by which case there’s always an AI constantly alert and headshots you the instant you walk into sight).
It seriously needs a rework. Either that or deletion. And also improve the AI water crossing capabilities. If I go under, they should dive under too.
But are they though (I’m just kidding). I definitely know EVA is, because they are the sweatiest players around. EVA_Gladitor abused my team for losing just because we weren’t super sweats like he was. I have no respect for people like that.
The only time I get angry is when the team doesn’t defend / attack the point or place rally points. It’s not hard. But I never abuse the team for skill issues.
Just because they don’t have the same skills as you doesn’t make them useless. You don’t know what they do outside of the game. What if one of them is a neurosurgeon (far stretch I know). I doubt you have the same skills. Does that then make you the one with the skill issue, if you were to perform the same surgery?
Some people are better at some things than others. I guess Enlisted isn’t their strong suit for most people.
I just want balanced games. I don’t like to sandwich the entire enemy with a team of five. Or get sandwiched against clans.
Don’t be hard on them. They have no other honor in their lives.
Speaking about honour - I just played a match with Japan. Either I was up against a stack, my team was all AI, or the kindergarten decided to try out Enlisted, because my team was hopeless. We lost conquest on Guadalcanal in less than 10 minutes, and I was the highest everything on my team, with 24 kills, and a max score of 1400 points. I was the only one building rallies and attack objectives.

There is absolutely no reason that a “play solo players only” option cannot be added to the game. Very simple, just a simple box to check added next to the “play any faction” option, and solo players can now play “only other solo players” and not have to play stacked groups. That would stop a lot of the seal clubbings IMOP and make a much more favorable match making system. Those who don’t care can just ignore the box and play as usual. Me, personally as a full time solo player would pretty much always choose to play ONLY other solo players.
Theoretically, this should make better games for all, as unorganized solo players would be playing other unorganized solo players, and groups would end up playing against more groups, which should make their games more competitive.

Actually, I do know why clans / stacks are against the change. Sadly, most of them are not after a challenge. Most just want an easy win, hence why they are fighting so hard for it to stay the way it is. They claim reasons like “longer matchmaking”, or some other issue. The only queue that will take longer is the queues with the stacks, because they are the minority.
I am all for the change. Sadly, the devs don’t listen to the real players.
