Fix & Guide On Easy Anti Cheat Problem

hello people.

today i would like to share a Fix that some people, me included, had or have issues with it.
works for many others game that uses Easy Anti Cheat Too.

Main Problem:

whenever you try to open the game, this message will pop up ( not for everyone, but as i said, it did for me, and a couple of friends ):

" Easy anti cheat not installed "

How To Fix It - Step By Step:

briefly, in order to fix, you’ll need to scroll through the Game’s Folder and manually update the EasyAntiCheat Program.
if you don’t know how or where to do that, i’ll show you below how to get there in just a couple of clicks. Steps by steps:

  1. open start menu:

  2. Type " Enlisted "

  3. press right click of your mouse on the icon and select " open path file " ( second option )

(and it will drive you here)

  1. now, press right click on the icon of enlisted and Open path file again, just like you did before ( as this is not the actual folder of the game but a link )

( after you done that, it should looks like this: )

  1. Double " Tap " with the left mouse button the 9th folder called " EasyAntiCheat "

  2. Open the Enlisted folder inside the EasyAntiCheat folder

  3. Launch the *EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe

  4. Press Yes:

  5. Press The Bigger Button:

  6. And Voilà. it’s done. after that, you should be able to run your game.

In Conclusion:

i hope this can help for those lucky few that had this issue.
i do apologize for the screenshot in a different language than english, but i’m more than sure that it’s self explanatory ( if you follow step by step :3 )

and as said before, works the same way for other games that has easy anti cheat as well.
( in case you have troubles with it. like war thunder ).

P.S. If you Open at the same time, two games having Easy Anti Cheat it will not be possible.

example, if you want to check War thunders parameters, and at the same time, Enlisted ones, this cannot be done. and it will cause you the issue of not making your computer to start one of those two games.

that kinda sucks and i don’t have any explanation. but hey. in case you didn’t know. there you go. a little reminder.

This is my issue. For some reason, it’s giving me this error code. Do you have any solution to this? I was thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling the game but I fear that this will delete my progress

greetings, and sorry for the late answer but i was sleeping.

unfortunally, i do not know your current issue.

BUT,

you can try with 3 methods:

1st Method:

Open the launcher, go in the options ( little wrench on the top right )

and than press the Check Files

this should fix your game. and eventually, download some missing files ( if your issue is related to that, which i think, but i’m not sure )

2nd method:

( If the first Method did not work )
Uninstall your game, and reinstall it.

don’t worry, you will not lose your progress. as it’s a multiplayer game based on cloud. so you will not lose any progress.

3rd method:

if none of the method above worked, create a bug report following those steps by steps:

some devs will answer your thread and try to fix.
unfortunally, i cannot help you further than this, ( as i’m not competent in software coding and stuff )

It will not. The game is account-based, so progression is stored on your account.

Ill try the first method and if that doesn’t work, I’ll uninstall and reinstall

Thanks, I was just worried that it would get deleted. It would be a real shame to lose all my progress

Well, both method 1 and method 2 did not work. I looked around and turns out this issue is solved by updating windows. Unfortunately, I can’t update windows for some reason (settings won’t load) so I guess I can’t play for a while unless anyone else has any other ideas

they might be able to do something.

Good news, I got the game running. I did some weird thing that I would not recommend because I nearly killed my computer. But hey, Enslited works now and I’m happy. All’s well that end’s well

Well, “killed my PC” isn’t really the right word combination, it’s more like “made my PC unusable”. So, here’s what happened: As I said above, I had an issue with the easy anti-cheat not letting me play for some reason and gave me an error code. So I looked all over the internet for a solution and I tried everything but then I came across this site that said to turn off windows defender, uninstall then reinstall the game. In hindsight, I should not have done that but hindsight is always 20/20. So I turn off windows defender and immediately my 16GB RAM computer has ground to a halt. Because I turned off windows defender, some antimalware thing popped up and was single-handedly using 1 GB of my RAM. I’m not joking when I say that it took 2 minutes to open up a chrome tab. I started looking for ways to stop the program because it didn’t let me end the task through the task manager. After about an hour of looking (but mostly waiting for everything to load), I found a solution and hesitantly followed the instructions. After following the instructions and restarting my computer, everything went back to normal and Enlisted worked. My computer is back to its normal fast self and I can finally play Enlisted again, just in time for the new map.

That’s the thing, it said it was part of the system and upon further research, I found out that it isn’t a virus and it’s been a windows headache for a while
