You just can’t really approach them without being marked for death, to destroy their smartass tanks you need to sacrifice your entire squad (if you are lucky)
Honestly it would be fine if guerrilla squad AI could be ordered to stay put over 50m’s away, the AI just runs off in random directions and gets itself killed 99% of the time.
tanks should be forced to leave at least this tiny area within ~30s of spawn or be auto-killed.
Give them all heart attacks if they are sitting there for days.
But also let vehicles to capture points at half the rate of usual infantry units (5 man tank = 2-3 infantry soldiers). It would encourage people to actually get on the point and help with capping.
The only way to fix guerillas is to remove them
That’s not a bad idea… more mechanics (really just means “more ways to earn score”) to alter the way the common player plays the game is good, it’s just basics psycology of rewarding good behaviour. This suggestion, together with a “Vehicle Support Attack” bonus (kill near or shooting at allied vehicle, similar to Objective Attack for kills on or near objectives) score modifier to incentivise greater co-operation.
Anyone worried how this Vehicle Support Attack would be implimented, apart from about a 15m radious (open to other suggestions) around a friendly vehicle, it would also include soldiers that would recive a assist if the vehicle was destroyed, meaning there already is a working tracking system in game.
spawn killing is a much worse issue than spawn camping - which is the reason why shooter games have spawn protection to begin with.
