Shouldn’t I realistically be getting "Best Engineer" because I had the most engineering points? I had almost 1,000 engineer points, while Eugeniov couldn’t even muster 50 points with his 3 constructions.
I just feel ripped off, considering I never built barbed wire or anything like that, but instead built useful constructions such as Rally Points, AT guns and stationary MGs. Yet Eugeniov, who builds one Rally Point and a sandbag, and one spawn on said Rally Point, gets Best Engineer.
Maybe I’m just being a points whore, but it doesn’t feel satisfactory or right. Now when I think of it, Eugeniov is a Russian sounding name, so maybe Russian Bias applies to the players too. . .

That’s what The Best Builder is for - having the most building points. Best engineer is for the engineer with the most points.
You do realise Eugeniov was below me in both circumstances. What I’m wondering is why I didn’t get the award, considering I outdid all the other players on my team too.
I believe “best engineer” it’s not related solely to buildings constructed, but points done by that squad member in particular. For example, when an engineer gathers a lot of points in a single life, such as through kills or vehicles destroyed, that’s when he can achieve “best engineer”. As you see, an engineer can get points not just by buildings, but by performing in battle like a regular soldier. Same way as you’d get best rifleman, or best machinegunner.
However, I’m surprised you didn’t get the Best Builder award either, based on your score. Did someone else in your team or the enemy’s side got it?

I feel you bro. Someone also got best engineer AND builder award, despite deserting and having a lower score than me🫠

It’s probably awarded to the one who makes the most kills with an engineer.

No one else on my team got it. But awards should be for each team, not shared between the two.
