Against all common sense and sound judgment, I decided to purchase the T20E1 rifle (rated for BR5. Previously my highest rated weapon was BR2) with a gold weapon order. We fought the Japs and did terribly. I was pretty nervous because I had never been in a BR5 match, and I was worried I was bringing the team down. So I was shocked when I saw this…
The issue is that as of now, Japanese BR5 is highly stacked by veteran players since the last update, thus there are not really anyone (or at least experienced players) playing high BR USA, making the experience unenjoyable.
It seems that you did good despite the odds nonetheless.
Yeah, for me this is my favorite guns in the game, and probably the best one amongst all the weapons I own in this game.
The Faction imbalance has not been corrected for a long time. This is a fundamental problem with the game, and one that is probably difficult to fix with the system, since the game’s appeal is that everyone can play with their favorite faction.
I am playing in Japan now after the US grind, and there are many games where the US is dominant from 12:00 EST~20:00 EST. If you can’t play during that time frame then you are better off playing without being concerned about your team winning. You could play just to achieve your personal goals. So, on the rare occasion when your team is filled with Vet, you could try to do your best for your team.
So, I wish you find your own enjoyment.
I hope the imbalance in the game gets better soon and you can play without any inconvenience.
I keep waiting for the game to implement things like a PVE mode where you can play regardless of Faction trends.
Not many people are playing USA now, unfortunately.
Did you bring BR2 equipment plus just one T20E1 rifle into a BR5 battle against the mighty Japanese?
You have some big balls there, sir!
Good job and you had a good gun to do it.
You deserve many salutes.
your big brain teammates were also playing BR1 and BR2 equipment with a gold order/event/premium squad. Sadly casuals often get themselves uptiered for no good reason which hurts their team.
Darkflow created a video to explain BR…but I honestly don’t think a truly novice player would watch something like this. (10) Enlisted Сombat Notes — Battle Rating - YouTube
There is almost no explanation for BR in the game.
Just a “you are a BRnn” at the edge of the lobby screen, and I am convinced that players who are interested in the game and have just downloaded it will have no idea what a BR is and won’t even care.
I think there needs to be a clearer UI for newbies and more in-game guidance when landing back on Steam.
I have a friend who came back to playing Enlisted after a year, he doesn´t give a f about BRs thinking that he is better of with in BR3 because he has 1 BR3 tank while the rest of his gear is BR1 or BR2.
New players need to learn that getting uptiered is not good for their performance.
DF needs to make in game tutorials about this, when a player unlocks BR2 equipment he should have see the tutorial. My friend just assumed that tier = BR.
there is no balancing in the game. DF judt want to fill as many players as possible in a game no matter how bad is the balance because they just dont hsve enough players. And clearly there wont be enough players if df cant make a balanced game and economy
I have maxxed out my US BR 1-3, 3-5 and 5 levels and I much prefer the 1-3 the best. Same with my new German squads, which I started after my US squads started getting one ass kicking after another. My German Squads I prefer 1-3, but play equal amount with the 3-5 as well.
Its calm, both your teammates and your enemies are consistently stupid, high BR is gambling, you get competent mates or complete retards and there is no middle ground.
Thank you!
Yeah, it sucks how imbalanced the player base is. How would it be possible to fix that though? It’s not really the devs’ fault at all. I feel like we are getting more lower-tier vets in U.S. (maybe U.S. first-timers who are actually good). We still lose a lot, but it seems to be improving.
