I’ve got an idea to make our bot squads even more tactical and useful in Enlisted. Right now, our bots do a decent job of following commands, but I think we can step it up a notch with a new strong feature: the “Cover Fire Area” command.(just like the “Attack Ground” command in MoW: AS2) .
Bot Behavior: Upon receiving this command, bots will focus their fire on the specified area, even if no enemies are visible.
being able to point at a specific area and order your bots to lay down suppressive fire on that location would be cool for both defending and flanking.
Mortar Squads: would be cool if my bots starts firing mortar on selected area.

First point is a decent idea.
The second seems a bit moot, considering a lot of players (myself included) tend to use both mortar men to barrage their ammo before doing anything else with the squad.

I like this idea, that would be really good.

Well I think Mortars are kinda niche anyways - would give the player more chance at actively fighting, but then again, that’s what radio squads are for.
Maybe Mortars could get a bit of a boost, so that they can disable tracks from tanks.

mortars are really map dependent, I remember getting 35 kills with 2 mortar shells while attacking on Dday lmao

Yeah, exactly. With the ability to designate an area for mortar fire, atleast our sumb bots cover that spot while i focus on placing rallies and shooting some guys. It’d make mortars way more versatile
