Finnish Tech Tree

Oh! I just assumed it was the Soviet model. That is a very interesting tank and would have worked well in the tech tree! Thanks for showing me this.

IRL SJR appeared after winterwar. There were some cases when “onion” like bulges appeared to barrels of KP31. Someone ( really cant remember who ) thought it was due to snow getting in the barrel and blocking bullet causing these bulges. But it was actually bullets that got stuck in barrel and in full auto fire next bullet cleared the block and left that bulge as reminder.
Gun was fully functional after these cases, but barrels accuracy sure did take some damage.

Eitherway, to keep the story short SJR irl is deemed useless and Lahti invertor of the gun definitely didnt like the addition that was done without asking from him.

So its the same gun without any actual improvements.

what is irl ?

So if I understand correctly, the reason why they introduced the SJR version in-game is to have a KP31 with features that differentiate it from the premium squad’s KP31, but There would be no difference in performance, right?

Recoil,Dispersion, reload and firerate are always used for differentiate similiar gun, expect the same even with this one even if change only a bit the Rof

TBH I have absolutely no idea why theres 2 variations.
I can only guess its exactly for that reason, the premium one might or not perform better than the other due to being “different” model.

Yet as said in IRL they are practically exactly same. With that exception SJR is deemed useless.

If I recall, these exact “tank” versions were supplied with ordinary barrel jacket / sheath ? Which ever is it in english.
So in case when they had to bail out they could switch the jacket and have usable front sights.

Yeah i think gun jesus talked about something like this in his video covering this gun.

Are there any KP31 variants that have had different or superior performance ? For example, the KP31K. I’ve heard that this gun can accept a magazine with a capacity of 96 rounds, How was 96rounds evaluated?

Prototype AL-43

al-43

It was actually easier to find it than I thought.
More info about prototypes here
https://www.jaegerplatoon.net/ALMOST1.htm

Could have sworn I read about it somewhere else.

EDIT; Actually now thinking of it another time theres actually KP-31 with underbarrel flamethrower.

I dont remember such high capacity magazine, will definitely try to find info about it later.
They were quite happy with the 71 drum
( Soviets were even happier, since they produced more than anyone of those m37 magazines ofc in 7.62 format)

There were also about 50? Round “coffin” magazines which were alot easier to reload than m37 drums.

Thanks to you, I can see various versions of KP31. I hope to have a chance to use KP31 in Enlisted someday (although it appeared as a premium squad in Stalingrad cp, I didn’t purchase it because the map is not fun). KP31 looks quite cool, so I think of you when it is released later. Also, the KP31 with a flamethrower seems to have a visual that would be used by a super soldier. It’s amazing.

It definitely should be as f2p option in the game. Havent bought it either due to stalingrad being what it is.

Has anyone got any other of these hypothetical tech tree’s? I’ve saw Hungary but thats it.

nice mention. :smirk:

bipods first.
skis later

I have only made the Hungarian and Finnish trees so far, However, @VonuhLikesCake has also made a Finnish one and @adamatry made a french one.

If they can make the AI in the squad not derpy AF when riding them it’d be cool. If they’re derpy and just sit in the open getting shot it’ll be a joke
