FG42 shoots fast and has very little recoil - Soviet players dont like this
FG42 does not one hit kill Soviet players because of body armor
statement:
first FG42 had a rate of fire of 900
second FG42 version had a rate of fire of around 750
this is incorrectly represented in the game
solution:
increase recoil of both FG42 versions
lower FG42 II rate of fire to 700
increase damage of FG42 II to 15.3 to move it in line with other SF rifles
lower first version FG42 damage to 13.2 dmg - to make it deal MG like damage
increase first FG42 rate of fire to 900
if FG 42 2 gets damage and accuracy like AVT such high rate of fire is not needed, why if you kill with one shot? therefore it is better to lower to 600 and also you should not forget about AVT in this case it also needs an improvement in the form of a slightly larger magazine for 20 rounds.
It’s unnecessary to increase the recoil of a notably recoil less firearm in real life. Also, the USA and Soviets and Japanese ones have almost no recoil to boot.
Fedorov is a Assaulter class weapon and as such is more limited weapon than SF rifles.
Compared to other Assault rifles this does seem unfair but is still a step to the right direction.
Also, Type Hei SF rifle being one hit kill guns should concern you more than Fedorov.
Actually good idea - if all SF rifles had MG damage, non would kill with one shot against vitality - which in return would mean body armor wouldn’t change the bullets to kill.
Man you have to tone it down with the BR5 Germany hate, sure Fedorov balance breaks weapon performance logic - however STG is simply good enough to melt every enemy you might encounter.
My hate for body armor outside of BR2 has always been that I like using semi auto guns and I used most select fire rifles in semi mode, but not downing in one shot makes this playstyle pointless, the game forces me to go full auto, and I hate that.
Just because STG44 is a very good weapon doesn’t mean that there are not even better guns in the game. It’s been outclassed and power creeped long time ago by AS-44 that always had a slightly better stats.
BR4 semis are completely redundant with their body armours and also vitality that stacks. And BR5 semis are like you just said you need to go full auto to have chance at killing them.
not true in general - every semi auto that deals above 15 damage, will one hit down up close even against body armor. There are quite some semis that deal 15.3 damage - but there are also a lot that dont.
