Maybe? They have been able to get the deals done before. But seeing how DF parent company has acted it really wouldn’t suprise me if they did it on purpose/didn’t care.

Don’t worry. I’m sure there will be loads of nearly identical replacements for a higher price coming after the merge. They just need to FOMO us for a while first.

gromvoiny confirmed earlier that the only part of the game that are connected across platforms is the matchmaking. They are in full control over which squads are available in which stores at whatever prices for however long. I am holding out hope that the lack of communication on the console side of things is just an accidental misunderstanding.
I’m also holding out hope that when they say “these will be immediately removed from the store” they intend that to mean the gaijin store and not the console stores.
Earlier, I tried to get an answer regarding similar circumstances from a previous sale where the communications were all about the pc sale and console players were confused. But I think I’ve posted enough times angry about the situation that I think mods seeing anything about “console” and “sale” from me get short circuited to closed.

Is there an explanation for why this squad is being removed?
I’m trying to understand what considerations are made when deciding to remove a squad.
The Reising will be in the tech tree. Some premium squads have weapons that are available for free in other campaigns like the Reising is in the pacific so these squads aren’t as special any more. That’s the excuse any way. FOMO is the real reason.

In this case, a much more profitable model is temporary “fancy” squads that will “disappear at some point, so hurry to buy” than to keep a lot of squads that will not give the potential buyer a rush, knowing that he will buy them “someday”. People will be “trained” in FOMO and it will bring them (the devs) much more money doing this way.

Regular squads deserve removal more than premium squads. Because there were so many of them, there were four first-order infantry squads of the German-Italian coalition, and the number of all infantry squads reached more than ten.
Like already answered by another player, it is a starting weapon in Pacific campaign and will be available in the unified US research tree. The list goes on. Such premiums don’t bring anything unique and there’s no point in keeping them in the new meta.

III or the A-13?

Ppsh2 medic squad is also a female squad and is not removed

No, Orita has normal soldiers, PPSh-2 has female soldiers but it’s not getting removed

I got the Orita. I like it, it’s a more accurate, even less recoil (!) mp40. Squad is really made for those enjoying the medic class and it’s respective gameplay, thanks to perk points specifically tailored to obtain the most possible healing perks.
Not a discount assaulter squad, for those only interested in that.
- Important note: I say the Orita has less recoil and feels more accurate than regular mp40, but keep in mind, ppl, that this squad CANNOT have 14 “yellow” perk points at 5 stars. Which means no vert recoil dampening perk. The Orita smg compensate for this, with it’s exellent handling.
