Fiat G.55 increased render distance

Not sure how to upload videos from Xbox live app. Advice is welcome. Hope the link works.

Made a bug report a while ago addressing this issue. Was told it was not a bug but rather a render issue meaning this is intentional or accidental. Regardless, it is absolutely broken and needs a fix. Was also told this would be forwarded to the dev team but still no change.

Playing on XbxsX so I am unsure if this occurs on PS or PC.

If you’ve made the recording on your Xbox go on it and uploaded to “Xbox network”. From there wait until you get a phone notification saying it’s been uploaded, then you can find it on the Xbox app in library, from there you want to save it. Now you can upload it like a standard photo.

Was able to save from app to phone. Even saved it to a file but it says was too big to post on here :man_shrugging: not sure why the language isn’t English either.

Does that link work?

The link works fine, not sure why it’s considered too big though or not in English though.

Max video upload on the forum is 62.5 mb.

Yes something has changed recently with rendering distance.
When flying, you can now see the map being filled up with objects when you get closer.

Like when I was strafing infantry on the ground, shooting at them, they were in the clear so I should be able to hit them, but when I got closer to them, suddenly a whole TRAIN appeared in front of them out of nowhere, blocking my shots.
The rendering sucks and needs to improve.

Ahhh good old dagor engine rendering

No doubt on all of that. However in this instance, there are 4 aircraft in play. The 110 off in the distance is at least twice as far away as the G.55 and it is still visible. The Fiat only appears maybe within 1000m. It’s absolutely busted.

But how does it only affect the G.55 in such a way? As just mentioned, the aircraft in the distance is farther away yet still visible. The fiat just materializes out of nothing.
