Except for conquest and when I get tired of pulling defense maps. I hate getting defense 6 times in a row. If its a fun match I stay regardless win or lose. Germany Moscow requires you to push the point at all times because normally your team will not
Not exactly sure why would anyone even compare them against each other, entirely different gun categorys.
Sure they share the fact that both can be wielded by every soldier.
But then again ass-ymmetrical balance.

I dont but some people do and will even argue how the M2 is as good as the FG42 which from my use of it and its stats it simply isnt. Just two different types of weapons entirely
Yes and no.
It is trash compared to FG42 because it’s not a semi auto, it’s more a SMG.
One problem is the high vertical recoil but I’m ok with that.
What is horrible is the sight. It make you blind as soon as you try to use it like a STG.
The sight need to be rework.

M2 is trash when compare FG42
M2 nice to clear room but FG42 can do same.
At medium to long rang FG42 Win.
Many map in Normandie Campaign fiight at medium to long rang.
