Just noticed that the regular assault rifle is way more accurate then the sniper model.
Can easily land shots against targets on mid to long range with it and it needs to stop
And while youre at it you need to slow down the rof when its in single mode. You can spam that sht faster then the auto. Perhaps 5-15% faster then the SAs on single fire mode

Damage model well…Even if they are weak at longer ranges 14 might be to much top upgraded (perhaps keep it for the 2nd sniper version ? to compensate the range). But on the other hand idk M2s either that much except they are also monsters up close

And the M2 is trash. You can only use it at spitting distance. Sights are bad, damage bad. Aka use the M1G

It’s not bad, but Its not an all rounder like the fg42.
Past 20m you can’t really hit anything if you don’t have the vertical recoil perk and go prone.

M2 and M1 are more CQB weapons so a different class all together. I’ll accuracy test them if you like for science lol but anyway Id say the FG42 maybe slightly more accurate than the FG42 II BUT the FG42 II has even better recoil. The FG42 II has 40 vertical and 10 horizontal making it twice as controlable as the AVT40 or AVS36. Lets NOT buff the FG42s in the slightest as the very crazy dispersion is the only downside
Lets also remember that as you level the gun up it gets more accurate. 30% when maxed making it MUCH better

yes M2 carbine - IS trash
I think the problem with it is that it is simply a different class than the FG42 so they cant really be compared. I dislike the M2 myself but love the flexibility of the FG42 so for me (and most) the FG42 is far better
Would say that the Regular infantry FG42 is much more accurate as ive struggled to land shots with the second one at mid and long range but not with this. Should be the other way around in my opinion
But the FG42 II is standard infantry in Berlin and most likely in Normandy soon. You really need to try them maxed out to see what I mean because it gets far too good as is. 40 vertical, 10 horizontal, 20 round mag, unhindered semi auto fire and still has 12 base damage…yeah its good as is
Yeah that i know ^^ Mine is just one star away from being an fully upgraded FG42-2
But im comparing them with same amount of upgrades rn. As ive struggled quite a bit with the sniper model i now when picked up the regular one it slapped at mid range like nothing and landed almost every shot ive aimed at. Even landed at small targets in gaps and such which the marksman model would struggle with
