In game, all models of the FG42 use 20 round magazines to fit BR5, however there were some less common 10 round magazines made for the FG42 series that could be used to add new versions of the FG42 series. You could give the 2nd version of the FG 42 this magazine, and it could probably work fine on BR4. There is a very similar weapon on BR4 that the soviets have, the AKT 40, which is basically just a 10 round AVT, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone complain about it being too strong, so it will likely be fine. What are your thoughts of this possible addition, forum members?
For automatic rifles with 10 rounds with this high of ROFs, BR3 is too low since that would make semi auto and bolt actions immediately obsolete and really power creep lower BR, but at BR4 it should be fine, since the AKT feels okay at BR4.
So according to your logic, any 10 round semi auto, even the Gewehr 41, shouldn’t exist on BR III? What should go in their place? Just more bolt-actions and 5 round semi autos?
Oh, that’s reasonable to ask for, the wording was just vague and given the topic’s content, I assumed you were including this and the AKT were included. I agree with that though, most 10 round semi auto rifles could be moved to BR3.
how about all SA rifle with 6 or lower rounds goes BR2, SA rifle with around 10 rounds goes BR3, SA rifle with 15 or more with Automatic select goes to BR4?

I think that is a great idea I mean a Garand at BR2 might be a bit strong but they can slow down the reload a hair. i mean it does not have 10 rounds so it cant go at br3
GR JP USSR all have a 10 shot SA but us so cool us gets it’s best sar at br2 they would have to add the mag fed Johnson at br3 and add new weapons for all four factions at br4
