Actually it almost became even worse as devs intended to give StG and AVT to troopers, assaulters and engineers in the Stalingrad at lvl 25.

Watch Darkflow make the Red Army storming Berlin fully outfitted exclusively with AS, RPD, Fedorov and AVS.
Safe to say there was zero of any of them in Berlin 1945.

I like these guns being widely available. They don’t get enough love from other wwii games. BF doesn’t count because the gunplay and the rest of the game are bad. I like Enlisted because of the variety of weapons and vehicles from the period, done in an fps with some realistic elements, forced fps view in tanks/planes and the damage model.
And for you enlisted gun play is good? Avt40 historically cant be used in full auto because of recoil, in enlisted is an m4, same for fg42 cant be used ln full auto withaut the bipod, in enlisted is an m16…
At least battlefield dont pretend to be realistic

The recoil is very huge, at least to me. You can barely get two hits on a man sized target with full auto in game.
i can assure you avt40 is a noob weapon once you start have confidence
no auto fg42 without bipod
Says who? I’m pretty sure the forgotten weapons guy shoots a full auto fg42 from the shoulder with no bipod, and says that it isn’t that bad.

Try do it in a real war under the enemy fire let see how the recoil is good 
that’s weapon has bipod for a motive: use her for supression fire in full auto
Enlisted has the same level of gun play of battlefield and cod wo is not a bad thing but actually with some weapon is totally unrealistic
I have exactly the opposite opinion.
Let’s say we want to implement KV-1 to the Moscow campaign. It’s a theoretical situation but you never know 
. There are two ways we can somewhat ballance it:
- make it powerfull but rare
- make it spamable but weak
Enlisted chose the 2nd way of ballancing and imo it’s a meh way of ballancing.
Going back to FG-42, I’d rather have it as a gun that is powerfull but rare and just screams ELITE, than to have it as a ok weapon that can be equipped by every filthy Volksturmer.

I’m pretty sure the devs made premium squads (and gold order BP weapons*) for this reason. I’m too poor to have my own besides the flametank on stalingrad, but I enjoy capturing lewis guns on Moscow and picking up an stg45 on Berlin whenever it happens.
I guess you kind of have a point. But at the same time FG-42 can be as common as a regular Kar.
