FG42 2 has really bad full auto dispersion recoil. I’m not sure what the correct term for what I am describing is but there is a visual difference of where the bullets are coming from and where the reticle is aimed at. Similar to the Kiraly 39M. The FG42 feels especially bad when fighting Russians with full body armor as it will need 2 shots against vitality enemies.
Alternatively, give all nations body armor to make it so that BR5 rifles will need 2 shots to kill through vitality.
That’s a great suggestion. This may be an unpopular opinion but the FG 42 II as it is right now :
The dispertion on the FG 42 II feels artificial and should be removed. It feels really unfun to aim at distant enemies since the bullets don’t go where the sight is. No other BR5 rifle has this issue
The soviets are rumored to get a new weapon / changes to the AVT/AVS. This will solidify the FG42 II as the worst main battle weapon out of all factions.
On the topic of body armor, even remove them from the game entirely, or add them to all factions, I really don’t care which of these 2 suggestions will be implemented
Just to clarify, I am talking about when the FG42 2 is fully aimed down. I am NOT talking about hipfiring dispersion. The bullets will not fly where my reticle iron sights is aimed at.
I dont think FG42 has big dispersion tho, I dont know man … for me it seems that STG has more dispersion than recoil, while for FG has more recoil than dispersion.
What they could do to FGs is to increase FG42 II dmg to guarantee a one hit down - while reducing its rate of fire ( historically speaking the second version FG had a much slower rate of fire than the first).
I agree with increasing its damage and reducing its fire rate. Makes the gun much better at mid to long range. You only feel the FG42s dispersion at mid range where it deviates from the reticle so much more than an AVT would.
I just want its bayonet.

I always thought FG42 has dispersion due to the shorter barrel , ie they’re quite compact weapons, so theres a price for that:
FG 42 Barrel length 500 mm (19.7 in)
SVT/AVT Barrel length 625 millimetres (24.6 in)
T20 had an overall length of 48+1⁄4 inches, a barrel length of 24 inches,

Are you purposefully ignoring what I said above? I said the fg 42 II is even with the AVT/AVS. Where did I say is so much better?
I consider the weapons even because while the fg 42 II has 20 bullets , it is inaccurate at times, while the AVS has much higher damage and a faster reload ( partial )
Maybe dispertion is not the right word then, but if you go into practice right now and test both the t20 and the fg 42 II and tap fire at 100 meters + you will see that while t20 will hit the mark with all bullets, the fg42 II will hit sometimes left or right of the mark
The question remains the same. Why didn’t you use the more accurate AVT, with its fast reload and high damage, in clan war? After all, accuracy and speed are crucial there, and the extra protection provided by soviet cuirasses gives such a huge survival bonus, don’t you think?
It seems you are still not getting the point. In the clan war I chose the t20 because it is vastly superior to both FG and AVS/AVT. The body armor of the soviets doesn’t mean as much to the 15.3 damage of the t20, but it means a whole lot to the 14.4 damage of the FG 42 II
Well 15 round mags are without a doubt a disadvantage - which again is why it should get its 20 round mag so it is more in line with the other select fire rifles.
That being said, as someone who likes to switch select fire rifles to semi auto, AVT is pretty accurate and its much easier to use the gun that way then FG.
Also again if I had to choose between a 20 round two hit kill gun and a 15 round one hit kill gun, its rather obvious which is more useful.

In the clan war I think 4 people used germany, and if they did that , especially on the second map was beacuse germany has the best HMG.
