FG 42 II full auto, but FG 42 I - semi auto

Since there is no option for a player to choose default fire mode (auto / semi-auto) I suggest to keep FG 42 I in semi-auto as a default.

This way player will have an option to choose desired fire mode:

  • FG 42 - for those who want semi-auto
  • FG 42 II - for those who want full-auto

Same like with AVS-36 (semi-auto) and AVT-40 (full auto).

Why not make it all semi-auto, I mean for all SF rifle.
I don’t think a soldier would set his full power cartridge battle rifle to full auto most of the time.

I kinda wanna see FG42 in full-auto by default first than talk about another change.

Now that G43 kurz is nerfed to the ground, fedorov will be the best weapon in the game.

I think that no, but i Will be here exposing valid arguments to everyone against the fg change i mean IS JUST A BALANCE can You imagine??

I think about this issue from a whole different perspective… in a combat situation its less forgiving if you shoot your enemy in full auto while expecting semi auto fire,

while anticipating full auto but shooting only once will get you killed - that’s why I think EVERY weapon should always start in full auto.
