- If you properly land your plane, you should be able to repair it with tool box and get a time window before grey zone starts killing you (1 minute perhaps?)
- Using binoculars, why not, you can already equip them on a pilot, so why not use them?
- More short texts to communicate with friendly pilots. Like “There’s enemy on your back”, “Help me shrug it off”, “Enemy plane present”, “concentrate fire there”, etc
Using binoculars from a plane?
yeah, can’t really see why it’s not a feature yet
Most planes Planes got optics and compass.
So I don’t think it was a thing for fighter pilot to carry binoculars. But mayne I’m wrong.
A copilot in a wellington may have used it to identify more clearly a target before being close or navigating.
But it just feels strange when you are not bombing from 35’000 feet and got optics for bomb aming.

A-10 pilots were still spotting their targets using binoculars during Desert Storm, so I don’t see a reason why this shouldn’t be a think in WW2
Fair enough I trust you.
IRL unless you’re straight and level and flying in smooth air…binoculars would be impossible to use.
Last Time i landed and go out, i cant get back in Airplane… Is it fixxed?
These are great suggestions! Bino’s in planes would be great! Plus, being able to fix your plane would be cool, too. It’d be nice to be able to create custom quick messages.
last time I checked in practice, I was able to get in the plane
Let pilots use binoculars while flying.
The rendering distance for pilots is too short. This may be due to current technologic limitations, but using a binocular’s view to render a small portion of objects far away may be a solution. This way pilots would have more than 2 seconds to react when spotting enemy infantry. Pilots would then be more independent from ‘luck” to hit a target. This would benefit fighter pilots too, as they could spot infantry and determine if a plane is hostile from a distance and engage them prepared.
Actually not really a good idea… i also want to use them on plane… but to be able to use them as a pilot you would need to go with engine off and probably landing flaps or air breaks (170-230km/h). If you’re on more than 700-1000m ALT… otherwise you wont be able to use them before you crash on ground… because of reaching ground really fast when your both hands are on the binocular instead of the steering wheel… if both hands are not on bino’s you wont be able to keep it steady so you can watch trough it …
Prove me wrong <3
On the other hand if your plane is a “2/2 crew”, your gunner should have time to watch for extra information when you’re leaving the scene after delivering the gifts (atacker’s plane i mean) and with the assist of your teammates locating the targets further you will have enough information for next delivery.
And untill we are still on the “gunner” would be nice to add option to switch with the gunner so you could try shooting at enemy’s on the ground (for skilled pilot’s).
Also when starting game and you’re going to take your bird in the air (Or in the lobby) "Option to choose the bomb timing (fixed option’s: instant detonation; 1-5 seconds ).
You’re doing great! But you can copy (NOT exactly a perfect copy, for obvious reasons) some of the features from “War Thunder - Realistic game mode”. Or use the intel from the players who did play the “Simulator and Realistic modes” (not talking about my-self, talking bout the real pro’s).
When flying i prefer reaching alt 800+ and because planes are very noisy enemy can actually predicts the bombing… so what i do is "turn off engine on about 1.4km distance from target and preferably on more than 1000M alt high and start “decreasing altitude towards the base currently being defended or attacked” witch gives me time to observe the shooting from infantry and vehicle’s (+pings). And right before i release the load i scroll back the throttle to 110% and leaving the scene with my cabin looking to the ground (basically flying upside down), for as long as i can keep the plane steady and watch the bomb hits and further enemy movements…
Sorry for the “TMI” and my “Bad English” and thank you for you time guy’s!
