Consider removing the shrinking battle boundaries mechanic
There is nothing worse than working hard to get a good flanking position and to hold it, only to have the game forcefully killing you by moving the battle boundaries. It not only ruins the game play, but it also ruins immersion. The pushing team should have to remove enemies behind their lines.
Also consider bringing back the Academy in some capacity. The perk system now feels hollow. Maybe allow us to send recruits to the academy, and they could come back with a new recruit over a period of time and if some bronze troop order investment is met. And consider tying in the academy with the perk system so that feels better. Otherwise just putting bronze orders to unlock new perks feels unrewarding and lacking.
Also consider having multiple cap points, so that the battlefield isn’t so narrow and congested. You have nice maps, yet you force all the players into a tiny area to fight over. Consider making the cap areas much larger. And adding multiple caps spread out, so there is more of a wide front and allowing players to engage over larger areas.
You already have the tight cap flag style maps with objectives next to each other. So consider opening up the larger maps to be more of an interesting and grand experience.
Please do something about the radio mechanic. Currently if you spawn in your radio squad, and there are already a couple guys using it, you can’t use it and you lose a lot of functionality and you essentially have a pointless squad. So let us switch out to another squad freely or add a queue, so the next artillery call can be yours. Otherwise if you cannot do it quick enough you never get a turn. Just something to make it feel a bit better to play with radio guys. Maybe allow radio guys a new ability besides calling in artillery. Maybe give them another ability to call in something else, like supply drop, or bomb or strafing run. So that if one is taken, they can do something else. The smoke artillery would be nice to be able to have as a second ability that can be up at the same time as the others.
