Fedorov Avtomat overview

The Fedorov Avtomat is finally back in the game, an absolutely gorgeous gun both visually and mechanically. A gun which was incredibly advanced for its time, infact too advanced for its own good, it is also the father of the famous DP-27.

In Enlisted it is quite a beast of a gun, both towards you with its recoil and sights and to the enemy with its damage and ammo count. Now you have a choice to equip your assaulters with the PPSh-41 or the Fedorov Avtomat, both having their ups and downs.

  • The PPSh-41 can deny hallways and clear rooms with just 1 magazine and it has a very accurate hipfire which with a bit of practice can be used even for mid range.
  • While the Fedorov Avtomat allows you to fight at longer distances by burst firing or single firing, it is also good in CQC with its high damage but the 25 round magazine and its 3 second reload will put you in a lot of uncomfortable situations.

The Fedorov Avtomat is a very good gun but it is quite rough to use due to its recoil pattern and iron sights, honestly you are better off using the PPSh-41, the AVT-40 already fills the mid to long range role in your assaulter squads. I will personally use it because I like the history behind it and its design and for nothing else really.

Is it OP? Not really, every endgame gun is OP in the right hands, thats the whole point of the grind in the first place.

I made a video on this a month ago and I even mentioned in the description that if it doesn’t get added in the next battle pass (would be this one), I would go outside and touch grass. Phew. I dodged a bullet.

But all jokes aside, glad to finally have this weapon back in our hands!

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Fedorov! My fave gun from Battlefield 1, been waiting for the Youtube community to do a video review but this was excellent!

I am too, but im sad they didnt change its firing sound, it should not sound the same as the MP-43.

These weapons look very strong. Until I got to it in Berlin, I stopped at level 27.
However, it saddens me and I do not understand the sudden and incomprehensible weakening of the MP43, which was unnecessary, as Fedorov is able to withstand the competition.

let’s change this to any gun in general

I dont think that would apply to the nagant revolver, but thats just me.

if you try hard enough you could get it to be OP

One advantage the PPSh has over the Fedorov besides the large magazine capacity is historical accuracy.

Three PPSh squads just like the real Battle of Berlin itself and would still choose PPSh over Fedorov.

how is that an advantage
