So who will take the place as the forums most favorite assaulter weapon!? Im interested in hearing what everyone else likes.
For me its a VERY close race on them all but:
#3 MP43/StG/MKB. The highest damage assaulter weapon and the most well rounded by far. Good in every situation
#2 PPSH 41 drum
Yes its the PPSH. 71 rounds, blazing rate of fire. I dont need to say anything else because we all know how infamous it is judging by the endless posts.
#1 Thompson 1921
For me, personally, I find this to be the most dominant CQB weapon and fit the assaulter role the best. 6.5 damage out the gate, fast ROF, solid sights. Good up close and can be surprisingly good with even a few rounds at range.
These are all VERY close and in certain cases one is better than the other!
ZK 383 for me. Good for its fast RoF, and fully prone and upgraded its a lazer at range.
Even though I have all the others unlocked in Normandy, I use this one the most.
Oh my… it’s a really tough one… I love most of them.
I’ll surprise a lot of people here, but playing Tunisia Axis recently, I’d say… beretta m1. Yep, that simple weapon.
But I have a very good reason why:
amongst EVERY weapons, ALL factions included, it’s the best quality vs price ratio smg you can get. It’s only 4 stars, and as such is super cheap to max star. It has a great ammo acount (40) per mag, decent rof and amazing stability.
My opinion might change once (if) the bronze order economy of weaponry FINALLY is on par with the bronze troops orders.
Of the ones I’ve used, its a contest between the PPD 40, and the OVP. PPD is a better gun by a good margin if the two are compared directly, but the OVP really shines bright in its native environment more so than the PPD 40, which is just another item in a line of incremental upgrades of the same concept.
Honestly the OVP is probably what I’d give my personal favorite star to. Its distinct, visually interesting, has that cool thing where you can see the bullets in the mag move as you fire, and it murders many a poor british soldier who thinks they’re safe around a corner.
