Well Since US don’t have good BR I fighter plane like USSR and Germany I think the FP-3 can be moved to BR I. At BR II the competition is too high for this plane to see combat and at BR I will be nice plane to have very comparable to the Bf 109 and the Yak-1. Japan and US at BR I really are lacking good fighter planes compared to USSR and Germany.
So lets see the other BR II planes US have and why to pick the FP-3 over other BR II Allies planes:
1.P-51C-10 with absolutely insane speed of 706 km/h and same firepower and same bombs its hard to pick the FP-3 for its only advantage a bit better turn rate and the ‘‘advantage’’’ of able to repair on a ship.
- P-40 E-1 has better bombs better turn rate better fire power better speed only its hard controls are its only disadvantage but even with this disadvantage is much better option then the poor FP-3.
3.Spitfires: Well they only don’t have bombs but when it comes to their fly characteristics well the FP-3 is no match for their firepower or their turn-rates or their speed. (here also VB/Trop and VC/Trop clearly the VC is much better then the VB so I hope the VB gets a bomb to see more play since right now there is no reason to pick the VB over the VC but if the VB has bomb will make the VB very interesting option for BR II if it had 1x250 lB bomb the Hurricane has 2 of them )
- P-38G well there is no reason even to compare them cannons ,rockets and speed of 663 really makes it no match at all.
The other option is to introduce new fighter plane to BR I Allies but why bother if we have existing plane that’s underperforming at its BR and can be easily shot down by the BF-109 that has better turn rate better speed and much more firepower also its bombs are in the middle so its better plane will be very needed BR I allies plane that at the moment sadly US is lacking.
