Extremely low level

I know this game has the player rate of Papas Pizzeria, but this is ridiculous.

It’s incredible that out of 20 games, 2 are good and the rest make you want to tear your hair out.

I don’t know what the hell the devs are thinking, but this game is getting worse and 80% of the blame is on them.

Each game is 2 to 3 players maximum with more than 40 kills and the rest do not exceed 10 or directly end the game without deaths.

And I’m not talking about bots, because honestly bots do more than these people.

There can’t be a game that makes you sick to play, it’s supposed to be fun. I’d rather play with bots than have games where my team is 8 newcomers, 2 veterans against 10 veterans. It’s ridiculous.

And their matchmaking crap is supposed to fix this, what they need to fix is the damn player rate, you can’t get to BR V and still play with BR2 people

People were like “Steam will fix this.” They went on Steam and the first thing they did was ruin their already awful reputation even further by releasing a stupid paid beta when the game is already free.

I don’t know who is in charge of marketing, but they should go to jail for buying their title (if they have one) from the cereal box.

Stop making such stupid decisions!!!

Well also fighting BR3 as a new player is a horrible first impression without a doubt, however the recent changes to early Tier gear makes it very fast to get some decent guns fast.

I dont know… i think the game should be much easier to pick up from the start.

I hate to say this, but maybe allowing new players to get more auto guns from the get go could help.

Boltactions are alot of fun to use - but also the hardest weapon class to learn

Getting new players up to the best weapons faster will just get them to a horrible experience just as fast.

The only solution is to create a matchmaking system similar to that of League of Legend using the game’s hierarchy system (soldier, commander, etc.)

Which is hilariously impossible because this game is played by 20 people.

I feel you completely, like I’m topping the leaderboard 90% of my matches, but some objectives its like tearing my hair out, I set the bomb up to 4 times on the same objective, hold it as long as I can, as I watch the enemy team flood in on me, only to die and see half my team is dead and the other half is afk in spawn, had one recently where even my APC was griefed and I dont dont know who by because theres no real way to figure that out, he just went afk in it so the only spawn near the point was taken up.

Honestly I wouldnt mind this too much if it werent for the fact that victories in this game as so important for research, like as a new-ish player I want to get to higher tiers to get to better players, but because im stuck slogging down at the bottom, I average out maybe 12-15k RP per match as a F2P, meaning I have to play a hundred 30 min matches, aka 50hrs to make any noticeable progress in a tree, like the RP update made it so much better. I should clarify im really happy with the devs from what I can tell, and this game is much better than the game I first played way back with the old campaign system. But it just fustrates me.

You know maybe a system where to play a higher tier, at least 50% of your equipment should be of that tier, just to try lessen the effect of the guys with a single new rifle uptiering their entire lineup and in turn being kinda deadweight to the team.

Well, I certainly do my fair share of complaining, and I think a week or two ago I had commented on a post that I only play on average maybe two decent games a week, and that is playing on average of 15 to 20 times a day. I played a game a week or so ago where literally I believe seven people on my side had deserted . So, they might as well just go to a 0/0 battle rating because the desertion level is so high due to terrible games that we’re left playing with or against BOTs anyway.

In defense of DF, the terrible games are not all on DF, some are bad because of terrible players, although it certainly doesn’t help when your slamming someone with level one weapons into a level 3 battle, or someone with level 3 weapons into a level 5 battle, that’s just plain STUPID! Would going to a 0/0 matchmaking fix it? No, but at least it would stop people (like me) from complaining about wanting to play one level and being forced into another. And this whole “we don’t have enough players” crap is moot, as half the people are deserting anyway, so regardless, WE"RE LEFT WITH BOTS!

And about the comment about marketing? I believe I have questioned their business sense on more then one occasion :joy:.

I tried warning you. I said it was a bad idea. The newbs need to stay in Low Tier longer, not get to High Tier faster. But did anyone listen to me? Noooo. The GRIND is too much for everyone. Now everybody is fast tracked straight to BR III and hates playing High Tier

This is why I dropped down to BR II post merger. BR V got too frustrating. It was either intense/sweaty matches or chaotic one sided blowouts.

There are still similarly skilled players at BR II, but the difference is at BR II everyone isn’t running full auto/meta weapons, every other squad isn’t a pay-to-play squad, nobody jumping out of the sky every 10 seconds, tanks aren’t indestructible, etc. The play slows down to a manageable level at BR II (at least for me at 40 years old haha).

Nothings changed then. Been that way forever

I’ve thought about it a lot, but after investing so much time and money in both weapons and troops, it seems despicable to me to have to lower all the factions to br2, especially because the low br of the factions is horrible.

Yeah, I hear you. I never spent money on squads or special weapons, so maybe that’s why I’m not so disappointed. I only have the BP and it was like 9 bucks three years ago.

I do miss using the top tier weapons, especially the rifles and SMGs, but BR II has it’s perks. Bolt actions are fun. SMGs are still OK. You can actually blow up a tank with less than 25 hits haha.

When I play level two it’s usually with either the Germans or Russians. When I play level 3 it’s with Germans cuz my level 3 Allies gets punked to level 5 a lot and when I play level 5 it’s all Allies. I would play some level 5 with my Germans but I have been rebuilding all my level 5 German squads. I haven’t got to level 5 with the Russians.

The most important part of the BR2 is that it doesn’t have the Tiger, that damn tank is immortal in enemy hands, but when you use it you get killed from all sides.

Bolt actions are perfectly fine…they just have no way to stay competitive VS BR3 semiautos

I like to run a bolt action in my squads for long distance shots in BR II. But yeah, the Garand, Gewehr 41, or similar will beat them out in almost all situations.

I had to thank you again, I downgraded all the factions to br2 and it’s fucking fun lol

I didn’t know that abusing newbies was so funny xD I remembered my most frustrating rookie stage xD
