i also play Soviets since its more balanced vs Ger. Playing Ger vs Alllied Normnady Ger gets most if not all the advantage, anyone who plays both sides knows this.

Iāve played both on Norm up to a decent level. When Allies donāt play as lemmings and actually flank, and build rallies itās quite even. But thatās a player/matchmaker issue rather than equipment one. And whatās wrong with the US kit in Norm to begin with? Do you suppose how tanks from the korean war and rifles from the vietnam one will change anything if you end up with 5 new players and 5 bots on your team? You could have Abrams tanks and M4 carbines and still lose with those odds.
The only two objectively unbalanced pairings, equipment wise, at the moment are pacific and tunisia. Both in favor of the allies.

Seriously, in Normandy, the only American tanks that are difficult to counter are the Tigers and Panthers.
In WW2, the U.S. military stopped fighting the Tigers with tanks and responded with air strikes with aircraft. They thought it was reasonable.
In the game too, the US military has some of the most firepower aircraft. I interpreted the game as showing that āwhen Tigers appear, you should call for aircraft supportā as in the historical fact, and it seems to work in many matches.
In fact, the game does a good job of recreating the asymmetry of the historical situation in Normandy, which I find enjoyable.
