If I buy a slot on Moscow, does it also give me an extra one on Normandy? And is the extra spot for both sides of the campaign?
It is for both sides but only in the campaign you buy it for - so not on Normandy, but yes for Axis and Soviets in Moscow.

Thanks, I wanted to make sure before I pull the trigger on getting one.
I have seen the buy extra slot option when having premium but is this permanent or it has to be in an active premium account if you buy a slot?
you get 2 extra slots for Premium and the purchased slots are additional to Premium.
AFAIK anyone can buy them - the colour of you money is the same!

Extra slots stay forever. I buyed it while i had premium and now i can have 5 slots for each side.

Yep, even if you dont have premium, but it works only in campaign where you bought it, soo i got it in Normandy, but, it works for both sides, and that is cool imo.
