Since the conversion rate of extra research point to silver is very underwhelming, and the fact that you need to BUY everything in a techtree line in order to buy things down the line that you actually want…you should be able to use research points to buy items on the techtree (say 10 to 1). Otherwise we have nothing to do with the extra points and despite my many posts here to change it, 1,000,000 research points should be worth WAY more then 20,000 silver. If we didn’t actually have to waste our precious silver buying everything instead of outfitting our squads, we would be more encouraged to play differt squads/vehicles/weapons/BRs that we normally wouldn’t.

Thats such a good idea, once you finish all the tech trees, you can unlock the research for all the legacy squads.

personally, and considering they wanted to hard cap them, but didn’t due to players feedback,
i’m extremely grateful and imo, shouldn’t change.
rate conversion may be low, but at least you get to keep them.
with that being said, i wouldn’t be opposed to:
although unfortunately, as they said,
they have no plans/intentions on reintroducing older squads.
which i hope at least, that stance changes.
guess only time will tell.

Yeah, it should be worth at least 100,000 silver. That way it’s like earning it in battle.
