If a head gets hit with a fairly major shell like an AT-rifle or a 20mm it’s only reasonable for it to explode.
Same goes for limbs, they should get blown off.

That implies that after a high-caliber headshot what’s left is a body and a head. Maybe not what you meant, but what should be left is a headless body. Heads should just vaporize if you hit them with a PTRS or AAA. PzB39 should make a bowl with a hole in it.

Most rifle rounds could go through multiple people. If you fire an SVT 40 down a hallway it should hit the one you are aiming at continue through and hit more behind

If you’re lucky enough to hit 3 guys standing in front of each other directly aligned with your gun, sure.
