Expanding Stalingrad, Operation Winter Storm

From everything I’ve seen most players are quite happy with the newest Stalingrad map, Tractor Factory. While Stalingrad has had it’s issues one primarily being the Paid full access system. I think that with some more additional content, maps and NON PAID unlockables Stalingrad could be on the rise.

On that subject there’s still plenty of possibilities for new map locations inside the city of Stalingrad. However in the tradition of providing more variety for map rotation I think adding in some Winter Storm maps could be a nice shake up for Stalingrad.

For anyone who’s unfamiliar Operation Winter Storm was the German counter offensive in Southern Russia December of 1942 to try and break the Soviet lines surrounding Stalingrad.

While Winter Storm didn’t take place within the City of Stalingrad itself the event is an important piece of the overall Battle. I think adding some maps or even just a map themed around this operation could give some amazing variety to the campaign. You could go from the confined cqc brawling of the Tractor Factory to more open firefights in the rural open fields or the Verkhnekumsky region.

I know some people might not be a fan of venturing outside the city itself but it’s just an idea to bring some more love to the Stalingrad campaign.
Plus I’d love to see more fully winter based maps in game and if they can put them into a already existing campaign then that seems like a win win to me

New maps are what the community wants most, so this would be a great addition.

OK wont let me post a new post. Got a question about Battle for Mrs. How do you change sights on weapom? I am using a red dot sight but can see there is an alternative sight fitted to weapon, which I am guessing is optical.

Yes we need more winter maps even with the Tractor Factory like why don’t we get the winter versions of the city too based on Operation Koltso(Ring) with more destroyed buildings like a more ruined Univermag department store where Paulus spent his final days in the battle before surrendering.

if berlin can do it cant see wy this cant happen in stalingrad, actually is they want milk the setting this is something necessary to do, we can say is sure this happen, we need only hope is not another failure like seelow heigth for promote a bad and unbalanced gamemod or worst another train map

I would like to see the battle of Pitomnik Airfield. Filled with the wreckage of various German aircraft to use as cover and large areas of snow build-up to make more cover between buildings. Aswell as trenchs dug into the snow and ground. It was protected by Jagdgeschwader 3. Which is already in the game as the level 29 Axis reward.
