We all already know that the developers are Russian, that they make nerf/buff without secretly notifying anyone and that the game has a certain favoritism for the Soviets.
But this is already reaching absurd levels. They buffed the Russians’ mg 131, which is now capable of eliminating a PIVf2 like it was nothing before even seeing where they are shooting at you.
And they nerfed the “erma emp with silencer” horribly, a premium German weapon that had almost no recoil and that now shakes like a blender when firing.
This “favoritism” of developers for the Soviets is reaching the point of racism.
Every change in the game is a buff to the Soviets and 3 nerfs to the Germans…
The last anti-tank weapon you get in Germany costs multiple shots to destroy a T60 while the second anti-tank weapon of the Russians destroys a Panzer IV easily, it makes no sense, in fact, it is absurd.
It’s fine that the developers are from Russia and feel patronizing about their country and the Soviet Union, but don’t forget that this is a game and their “favoritism” already borders on fascism.
You should already know there’s a minority the Soviet player base which cries the most that’s why the Germans get such serious handicaps so we can’t fight back because they don’t like the Germans actually having a fair chance when it comes to real battle.
Look at Berlin is a great example the Soviets have so many toys even knock off STG and yet they still don’t want to do it because they don’t like a fair battle and that’s why they’re hiding in Moscow.
I guess Is-2 being crap vs Tiger 2 and taking commander zoom of premium M3 Medium is also soviet bias? Or lack of any op gold order weapons which axis + allies receives constantly? Or powerful Event weapons like new Bredas? Or flamethrower squads that soviets still doesn’t have? So much soviet bias damn they should rename game as Stalinsted. Poor Axis never stood a chance…
it’s just a QoL upgrade that make you not go blind while shooting and suppressor that helps against the ai so it’s just a tiny bit better than ppsh-41 nothing as massive as most axis gold order weapons or new murrican T20
Sure you all think I’m crazy but I actually wanna play the end level BR and I don’t want to have to deal with sweat Lords using body armor and stacking perks and having some curse weapons which you can reload never mind other people can’t reload explosives.
I mostly play solo Moscow Axis and I win most of my games, all times of the day. The same issue the Soviets have in Berlin is somewhat present for Axis in that campaign, but not to the same degree. Check out my replays if you want to see some Axis Moscow/Stalingrad tactics.
The main issue I see is that there isn’t enough MG34 spam from Axis to counter Federovs and whatnot. The mkb is nice mid range but the short range damage is not, which is why your squads need a mix of mkb+kiraly to be truly effective.
The Panzer IV might be a glass cannon, but it has a fast reload and can penetrate anything in Moscow reliably.
Axis has the tools. The only campaign that is imbalanced, as far as I am concerned, is the Pacific only because the Japanese have not received their autorifle yet. I’m expecting the Shisei Type Hei to make an entrace soon so that m2 carbine vs semis doesn’t keep happening. There is 0 reason why the type 1 couldn’t have been unlocked earlier, and the Shisei Type Hei being the M2 carbine equivalent. The disparity in close range firepower every single time you face someone with m2s when defending a cap is disgusting.
Soviet body armor is also a huge balance issue. Why does ONE faction get a flat 10% health buff?
I have no idea and I’m scared of the merge when it happens because it’s unlikely the devs will address this problem or the disparity in their game or how the Soviets can reload explosives and yet the Germans cannot reload explosives while the Soviets can and that’s what we’re dealing with in end game level BR.
You always need more ammo. Dont see the point in that since you trade like 300rpm or so for 20 rounds and 0.1 better accuracy.
That being said, not really awesome. I get Cönders but this is just a fancier PPSh. Not worth those valuable orders I think.
